Prom Date: Do’s and Don’ts

Choosing a date can be a stressful part of prom preparation. Here are a few do’s and don’ts to help guide your date decision!

DO ask away!
Times have changed, so if you’ve got your eye on someone special, no need to wait for him to get up the nerves. Be bold!

DON’T think that you have to take a date
We all feel like we have to have a prince shower us with roses and whisk us away in a stretched limo, but most dates are just toads! So don’t stress if you don’t have a date!

DO let loose and dance
Remember prom is an opportunity to enjoy all of your BFFs, so get the whole crew on the dance floor!

DON’T have drama
This is a night of light-hearted fun, so avoid your enemies and other gal’s dates! Don’t be the victim of peer-pressure, either…no one like a Prom-a-donna!

DO drive and party safely
Remember it is always important to have transportation plans confirmed in advance with your date! Make sure you communicate with your family so they don’t worry!
