Does dresses.com have either a catalog or a store?

Dresses.com has neither a catalog nor a store. Instead our designs are offered exclusively over the Internet and shipped directly to our customers. By shipping directly to customers, we are able to have a more personal relationship with our customers.

Do you ship internationally, and if so how much does it cost?

It is no problem for us to ship outside the US. International shipping is an additional $14 US. This price is added on top of the regular shipping price once we receive your order.

How much does a dress cost in non-US currency?

If you would like to know the price of any dress – click on “order” and then click “add to bag.” This will give you the total price of the dress including shipping. Add $14 to this price to cover the international shipping charge. Now that you have the grand total price of the dress in US currency, go to http://www.x-rates.com. Click on "currency calculator" and enter in the amount in US dollars and choose which currency you would like to convert to. This should give you the current price of the dress in the specified currency.

What size should I order?

In order to ensure the perfect fit we suggest taking your Bust, Waist, and Hip measurements and then comparing it to our size chart found here: http://www.dresses.com/sizing.html If you are not sure about which size to choose, feel free to e-mail us at custserv@dresses.com or give us a call at (877) 237-3773. If you are in between sizes, we recommend ordering the size that fits your largest measurement and having the dress taken in locally.

If my order does not work out, can I make either a return or an exchange?

It is no problem to make either a return or an exchange. If you need to make a return, we refund everything accept for the shipping and the handling. What is your shipping time, and how far in advance do I need to order?

Shipping time varies throughout the year. Regular shipping takes 1-2 weeks to deliver. However, during prom season (January-May) shipping time may take up to 5 weeks. We always advise people to order early (4-6 weeks before an event) just in case you need to make an exchange or get alterations made.

How do I get the status of my recently placed order?

We would be glad to update you on the status of your order at any time. If you ordered over the internet, you can email us as custserv@dresses.com. The easiest way for us to track your order is by giving us your reference order number. If you lost or do not have this number handy we will need other information such as your last name or the email address which you gave us on the original order.

If you placed and order over the phone, we can track you order by phone or email as well. We will need the following information: the style number of the dress, the size and color, and your last name.

Do your dresses ever go on sale, and if so when?

We have only two sales during the year. Our first sale starts the first week of January and goes until the end of the month. Our second sale falls somewhere during the summer, usually starting the third week of June and ending in mid-July. During the sale items are marked down as much as 30%. Prices return to normal at the conclusion of the sale.

What if I want a dress in another color than what is available online?

We can make some of our dresses in colors other than what we show available online. Depending on the dress this request may incur an additional fee, usually $25. In addition we do not take returns on custom orders such as this. If you want a dress in another color we strongly suggest that you order the dress “as is” first to determine that the size is correct and that you like the style. Then follow the exchange instructions and order the same dress in the custom color.

Do you sell wholesale?

We do not supply for re-sale and do not seek partners, agents or involvement with any third parties at this time. We have been in business for close to 35 years and we enjoy the independence that selling directly to our customers has brought. By selling directly to our customers, we are better able to serve our customers needs.
